Mid Century Cadillac Discussion / 1959 Cadillac Hearse
« Last post by Lexi on January 11, 2019, 04:02:52 PM »
Have a look at this morbid 1959 Cadillac hearse found in Greece. Has some 60 Special trim but also some of the weirdest glass I have ever seen. Would give the Broadmoors a run for their money. Still, I would love to work on and drive down the street in this. Clay/Lexi

Edit: And it has cruise control!

If it was loud inside the car, it would seem as if they didn't isolate the mounting points with rubber.  You're getting sound transmission from the pump, into the frame, and in the car.

I bought it from crutchfield.com and order the free installation kit that included knobs and adapter.

I also bought a repop convertible top switch and installed it to operate the antenna.

Thanks cadsquatch , yeah I see what you mean.  Itís a shame it doesnít fit perfectly but Iím yet to find anything after market/ reproduction that does.  Looks good enough for me are they the knobs that come with the it?

Kinda hard to see but in the second picture the bottom sits back behind the bezel and the top sticks out. The radio face is flat and the bezel is angled back. Other then that I am happy with it, I only have 1 speaker right now and it still sounds pretty good
