Title: No power to the key
Post by: Ksmdenver on May 10, 2018, 07:29:05 PM
First time poster, first time caddy owner.

I have a 1961 Cadillac 2 door I just purchased.  Generator was not working so I had it rebuilt.  Started it after charging the battery back up and it ran great.  Went to start it today and there is no power to the key.  Dome light is also not lighting up now either.  I am wondering if I have something not connected or if I should be looking for a blown fuse.  Dome light was on between the start and today, not sure if my nephew messed with something.

Took the battery to be checked and it is full and and checks ok.

Thoughts?

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere. Check batt and starter connections first.
