Door Conduits
« on: March 22, 2016, 03:09:41 PM »
Well guys, a new update.

After Steele Rubber declined this project, a decision has been made to try another repop avenue Down Under!

One of our mates on here is going to take this on, and my front door conduit samples are on their way to him this week.

We will keep you posted of the progress here!
Many thanks to guyk67!!!

Great news.

I would be up for a set for my sedan, I have one "good" one left, all the others are toast

Hey Chris, with any luck, the shipping could be cheaper to you than to us for a change :-)

If successful with the fronts, we will most likely move on to the rears for the four door cars if we can get a donor.
We'll keep you all updated :-)
Thanks again Guy!

I'm happy to hear this. Guy, if you need some money for materials or something don't be shy. I'd like a set for my project.

Not for purists if comes from me, of course...
If all attempts fail, there is a promising very soft silicone bellows hose I salvaged from a defunct washing machine that I still have to try... Some day will report results.

With some inventive, should fit.  If not sourced from a boneyard modern donor vehicle.

I have a very nice rear one, other than some paint, it is great condition, happy to give over for the cause if required.

I'll take a set too if it works out.

A previous owner painted the driver's side one in white  -- what are people thinking?

Once we have a successful product, I'll come back to this post and start with collecting orders and keeping everything straight.
Hopefully, we will get there :-)
