My heater switch on my 56 sedan deville only work at hi speed.  It doesn't works at low speed.  I wonder if it is connected the right way.  Can we find replacement for that switch?

If you have the wiring diagram you will notice the heater switch will transfer power (slow speed setting) on the dark blue wire over to the defrost switch. The connector on the defrost side has resistor between the dark blue and the violet, which lower the current for the motor blowers for low speeds.

You may need to look at the defrost switch and make sure the dark blue is connected to one side to the resistor and the other to the violet.

Good luck..!

Problem solved!!!  The violet wire at the defrost were inverted with the black one on the resistance at the defrost control.  Thanks a lot!
