Guys,

I changed a few permissions. All forum members should have access to the document section at this time. When we first set it up, we had lots of folks register, download the documents and leave without ever making a post.  I was trying to put and end to that by adding the post count to gain access.

@robo The convertible top manual is not in the documents section. The one you see on ebay for $200 is for series 62 verts. Eldorados have their own manual due to the hard boot. As you could imagine, the Eldorado top manual is super rare. It is 1956 specific as well.  I have it and plan on sharing with the group once I get around to scaning it.

Thanks Lou,I can understand why you did it
I was hoping to find out how the hard boot attaches to the rear deck,are those called dot fasteners? and where would I get them
as you could imagine there aren"t to many hard boots over here in Australia

@robo

Attached is pictures of the boot hardware. Does your boot have any hardware on it?

Pic 1 is a factory diagram
Pic 2 is what the sockets look like installed
Pic 3 is the sockets not installed.
Pic 4 is the new hardware

Timing is everything they say, I just got a set of reproduction hardware for someone and they no longer need it. If you need this hardware, send me a PM.
