« on: February 26, 2013, 12:45:36 PM »
Lets show the group our personal cars.  Here is my "driver" 1956 Series 62 Coupe.  I purchased it from the 2nd owners, who purchased it in 1962.  She has 250,000 miles and is a great car.

Here is my 1954 Series 62 Coupe.  She has 45,000 original miles and has not been driven since 1974.  I rescued her from a large collection in Texas where she was about to be sold as a parts car.  She is slowly coming back to life.  She runs well.  Next step brakes then tranny service and shell go for a test run.

Lou,

I feel your pain about the 56 60S.  I miss mine all the time and if I would've had the cash I would have gotten it back from Art a few weeks ago when he sold it.  The one car I should've never let go....
Though, he did do a fabulous job with it.

Jeff

Mine is a '58 Coupe DeVille.  I have had it since '84 when I fell in love with it parked at the end of Taraval street in San Francisco.   The pictures are from a meet last August in Austria.  Both the Cad and myself are in Prague, as well as my '61 convertible and 2008 STS-V.

Here is my 1956 Fleetwood Sixty Special.  I have owned this car for many years and hope to get to it (ormaybe find it a good home) real soon.  It is a factory special order car, complete with Sabre Wheels, FULL Leather interior in white with red inserts and Eldorado aluminum ribbed floor plates, Eldorado 2x4 bbl engine and I think every other factory option.   It was sold new at Bob Little Motors in Newton, KS to George Sharp, the worlds largest Mobile Home dealer at the time.

OK, so I have a thing for 56s.  I bought this Series 62 Coupe from a friend many years ago.  It is currentlt undergoing a SLOW cosmetic restoration.  I just got the seats back from the upholstery shop an hopefully the body work will be done this year.  It has a/c, autronic eye, dealer continental kit and crank windows.  This Sonic Blue car originally had a Tahoe Blue top.
