falconglobal on EBay
« on: February 02, 2017, 03:34:04 PM »
Hi everyone,

I need to buy a full  rebuild kit for my 1956 Cadillac SDV.
I have found a seller on eBay called falcon global that seems to be selling
a ton  of rebuild kits for various cars.

Has anyone on this forum ever bought any parts from him
and does anybody know if the included parts are any good
and what brand of pistons and camshaft are included.

Thanks everyone.

I purchased a complete front end kit from them for my 61.   It was good for me.   I have talked to my engine builder about parts for my rebuild.  He told me you can buy them or I can by them.  It seemed he was going to get the same kit.

I would check out Terrill Machine in DeLeon, TX for engine parts.  Good luck, Larry

Bought a complete water pump from them. Great price and working great for the past 6 years.

My two cents worth,

I've rebuilt a couple of Cad engines and used Terrill Machine. Feltz Jr. tries to get the best parts available and only as last resort will purchase from off shore resellers.

Great guy, great business, easy to work with, good prices, and shipping is really reasonable. Plus you can get all (except for some exotic stuff like rebuilding the brake booster and master cylinder) the parts from one vendor.

I give the an A+++

I just bought a partial rebuild kit from them for my í58, (I already had a cam, lifters, and gaskets).   They had no problem to do special kit for me.   The pistons were from Rebuilders Choice, bearings from Melling, rings from Mahle, push rods and valve springs from Elgin.  The valves, freeze plugs, and oil pump kit were unmarked, and the timing chain & gears were from China, but look to be well made.

The block is still in the machine shop, so I canít speak to fit just yet.

Okay - just as an update.
I did purchase all my engine rebuilt parts from them.
Very good quality just at a little bit lower price than everywhere else.

If you want the best go with egge vintage parts .Do not take a chance with inferior parts It could cost a blown enjine when they fail .Ihad 2 customers that went cheap and had the motors go out after 3 months.Itried to caution them in the beginning  and they wanted to save money and cut corners the end it did not work. Luckily we were able to save the enjines .Do not take a chance on cheap parts ,,,plus the cost will double when having to do it over.
