Signal Flasher Location '61 (4 window)
« on: December 11, 2017, 09:54:07 PM »
Does anyone have any pics or a diagram of the factory turn signal flasher location for a '61 (4 window)?
The shop manual merely states: The flasher unit is located on the right side of the instrument panel support.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Mine was just hanging loosely from it's plug in that space, kind of tucked on top of the steering column.

Yea, I found a color coded wiring schematic and traced the wires, I don't know why the shop manual stated that it's on the right side of the dash support,... mine has a round clip mounted on the steering column that it was held in.
Anyways, got it sorted out, had to clean the contacts in the signal switch... I now have functioning signals and brake lights!

Thanks for your reply!
