OK I am getting flaky.

Last night I was hit with the desire to restore the original interior as it was.  I like it.  But I do not think it would look that cool.  Plus purposefully changing it gives you freedom for all the little details and features where you cannot restore the original.

My Caddy has a sticker (look a pic below) in back rear window. It's a student parking permission in Highline College.

So, where is that college? In Des Moines, Washington? Nearby Seattle?

Seems that my Caddy has been there in 1971... Well, now it's in Finland  :)

Is about 18 miles/29 Km from Seattle.  ;)

Oh yeah, ha !
I could have very easily filled that gap between the bed & cab with a funky smokestack that followed the bodyline.
Eh, no reply from Chevy forum, so I completely destroyed a beautifully straight fleetside bed to get a couple inches.
Men have done much more for a couple extra inches, but they didn't leave behind a 7.5' long bed in the junkyard.
Pick a Part wasn't too happy about that.

Man, big trucks are a pain in the ass to find parts for.
Believe it or not, it was way easier to find parts for the Caddy ( thanks to y'all, of course )
I joined that big Chevy truck forum to see what's up.
( I guess someone has "Crispy", I'm "Crunchy" on there.)
Haven't asked for parts, just a single post about the chassis length.
No reply...oh well, I got this.

Fun thought...
You know how folks advertise their shop on their shop truck, right ?
I'll be doing it with magnets.
I'm not fuckin' up my paint to advertise.
...the whole point of having a huge pickup truck is to pick up the heavys.
Limos, utility trucks, Ambulances, Hearses...all that stuff that's too heavy for a normal tow truck.
If I end up making a set of door magnets, I'll make a pair with the Owner Group logo (for when I'm towing a Cadillac.)

Again, this build is too fun, even if the Chevy forum thinks I'm jacking the style they jacked a long time ago.
Having way too much fun to care.
This truck will be my Swiss Army Knife.
Installing the "toothpick" right now.

I don't know who made them... but I have bought from the seller, the emblems on my newly installed seat belts came from him, they where what he said they where. I believe that you stated in an early post about cleaning up your hubcaps ( great tip on the naval jelly) and picking your best 4 out, that those emblems would be right at home on your hubcaps!👍😎
