Author Topic: 1961 Fleetwood Driver's Front Switch Plate (1962 Fleetwood will work)  (Read 614 times)

I am looking for a clean unpitted switch plate for my 61 Eldorado. It must have provision for power vent switch. This part was used in 1961 and 1962 Fleetwood.

Thanks

This one is not available. But for picture reference is this the one you need.   I think that Russ is parting out a 62 Fleetwood.

I'm pretty sure the 62 Fleetwood is not finned in the door handle area.

Well it does come apart In 3 pieces. Maybe he just needs the one. They do each have a separate stamped part number.

My question does he need the opening for the 6 way seat switch. I do not know if he has buckets.

The Eldorado and Fleetwood plates are not the same; the Fleetwood had 4 power vents.

Forgot about that.

Deville, with power vents would work though.

David, you saved me. I just retracted a best offer bid on one for a Fleetwood on E Bay after reading your thread reply. Thanks.

I do not have buckets so the Fleetwood one will not work. Good catch guys!

Problem solver (for now). Went to Lowe's and bought:

1.) Aluminum flashing (so thin you can trim with scissors)
2.) Special glue (urethane mixed with super glue)
3.) Dremel discs

Made a pattern, sanded my old bezel smooth, cut and filed the flashing, glued it down, sanded and polished and sanded again to match satin finish, and it looks pretty amazing.
