Paint Codes
« on: October 13, 2017, 12:14:56 PM »
My prior question about dash pad color got me to checking my cowl tag. Checked my paint code, says 50-44. I know 50 is Pompian red and 44 should be Laredo tan. My car is pompian red with a white hardtop, should my top originally have been Laredo tan? Seems like an odd combination if it is correct or am I missing something. Tag also states "Trim" 34, what does that entail? Thanks.

50 is Pompeiian red
44 is Laredo tan
34 is Sandalwood chilton cloth and sandalwood coated fabric.

Your interior should be the same as what @62 driver has except the 1961 version.

Thanks for all the info. Just can't visualize my car with a Laredo tan top after all these years. Seems an odd choice of colors.
