Color code of 1961 factory steel wheels

Hi everybody,

does anyone have the paint code for the original steele wheels for 1961 Cadillacs.
Like to sandblasr mine and give them a fresh powder coat.

RAL code would be very cool ...

Hello timo  If I remember correctly fords tractor gray was the closest to the original color.

@Timo , here is another thread concerning this topic, including the color code and exact Ford sales name. Our member (and former '61 owner) @Dan LeBlanc is the contributor.

The car in question here is a '59, but the information is also correct for '61/'62.

I did go the Ford Tractor grey route at one point and it's a bit light.  It may have been a poor remix of the colour too as I've never seen Ford tractors that light.

The colour mentioned in the CLC forum thread looks spot on to me.
