Naaah!!  I just looks bad.  It's realy not that much.  Lower Sills, inner and outer  and right front  floor pan.
The realy bad stuff is in the roof rail.  But,  this guy's done some realy  awfull rust buckets.
The rest of the Cad  came out Ok.  All paint and primer removed.  Will seal and block the surface and apply 3  coats of white.  Then  sand and block  2 layers and  then clear coat. 
Will post progress as I go.

Do you not use an epoxy metal sealer over bare metal and then primed?

Yes will do. The hole body will be sealed once body work is complete. Primered and a polyester coating applyed before white paint goes on.  2 or 3 coats to work orange peal off.  Then 2 coats of clear coat to seal, sand and buff final finish.
