Ballintine Beer
« on: November 15, 2015, 08:20:13 AM »
In the normal course of events things from the past are left in the past. Some are not, like bringing vack old cars. Those of you of a certain age may remember Ballintine Beer. They stopped making it 35 yrs ago.  Papst bought the rights and the formula. Its back. I found it in Main. Took alot of work but i found it 35 miles from my home. The beer of my youth now to go with the Cadillacs of my youth. It seems right to be down in g2 with an old Cadillac and a Ballintine. I dont drink beer anymore, I ONLY DRINK BALLINTINE!

What Art failed to mention is that after we all guzzled it down during Hershey week was that there was more flatulence floating in the air than the hot air generated by the gathering of the knowitalls.  That says something about the beer right there.

It's definitely the best beer to drink when you're out of Hudepohl

This is what I think of - all those baseball films from the 50s.  Yankees and Connie Mack stadiums.
