Still searching for speedo tear down photos, should've done a album ??? :-\. Got a photo of the vaccum tee, for you Carl!
WOW!!!! That glove box liner looks awesome!!!! Didn't know about reflocking it, learn something new everyday!!! Anyway looks great! Glove box lock, tried to rebuild mine, but I had no luck there, way to many small pieces for me, found one online, and replaced mine, as you can see the barrel is "pot metal" it was a bad design outa the gate, I was able to reinstall lock tumbler into barrel and retain my key for it and the trunk. Wish I could be of more help for you on that, maybe Russ will chime in, I know he works with the locks, tumblers, etc...

If you can keep a secret. I actually did two.  Why have one when two is just twice the price.

My parts car cost $400. Then $600 to get it home. Unfortunately it is not a Fleetwood. So there are a lot of parts I cannot use. But it had a working lock housing

Does anyone know how this vacuum part functions. One of my line ports is broken off. This cannot just be a tee.

Does anyone know what I should search for to find a new one.

It is a vacuum check valve.  They all leak now.  Just go get a plastic T and a vacuum check valve. It keeps vacuum in the interior during vacuum loss at acceleration.

I have a few of the original check valves if you need one. They can be taken apart with a razor blade. the bottom was super glued on and the glue is not brittle. The rubber disk is now hard, so finding a working one is difficult.

This is my alternative.  You could use the new in line check valve up hidden in the dash and have the original in the stock position.

So I was thinking about the radio face and gauge cluster surround. It is such a small part it would be hard to color match. And I would need very little paint.

I decided to try some rattle cans to see if there was a match. I think I got lucky

Carl, that's not even remotely close to the silverish colour that would have been applied originally.  Keep trying.

I did not paint the radio bezel. That is original
