Author Topic: Question about vertical trim on 1954 Series 62 sedan and coupe  (Read 1161 times)

Can any of you tell me if the vertical chrome trim located on the back door of a 1954 four door Series 62 sedan is the same as for the 1954 2 door Coupe?  This is the chrome piece that runs from top to bottom of the rear door on the sedan and behind the door on the coupe.  They look the same, but before I buy it, I want to make sure that they are interchangeable.

The seller has identified it as for a 1954 coupe and says the part number is 4624192 - 9832.

Thanks for your knowledge.

Thanks, Lou.  I was hoping that it would fit.

It's just amazing how much effort Cadillac made back in the day to customize each little detail of our Caddies.  Little stuff like this is mind boggling.
