« on: April 11, 2016, 08:26:20 AM »
I forgot I didn't do and intro post yet. I have a 1961 Cadillac Town Sedan. I picked it up off of Ryno who just lives across town from me. The car is pretty complete but their still is lots to do.

Here she is.

I recently picked up a 472 Cadillac mill and a TH400 transmission with a high stall converter to put in her. That should make her get up and go. I plan on stitching my own interior and doing my own body and paint. I am an artist so that stuff I am comfortable with. The mechanics and electrical are the things that worry me. Way outside of my comfort zone!

Here is where I want to end up. I even went as far as making a shirt to generate some funds for the build. I call her the Codillac. It is probably only clever to me.

Sweet shirts!
I'd like to make one up of my car if possible...where did you have done or do you have a template to share?
Thanks!

sounds like you have a cool build planned out

a word on the 472 install, pthers have found the drivers side manifold is a nightmare due to the steering box location

Thank you. Good to know. I will pay close attention to that when I pick up headers for it.

I don't think anyones headers will fit
you will have to make your own!
