Superman Mike Cascio recasted the rack and pinion gear using clay and epoxy. He had a right up on the old 61/62 site that was dynomite. Might contact him. I need to do the same. This might be a part that could be 3D printed also.

We need to get a list of 3D printed parts together and have them made.

I know a guy who has remanufactured the rack and pinion and and the small gear wheel out of metal. It was both broken in my Cruise Control (which is in every other respect like new). I do not know if it was a one time endeavor or if he is willing and able to produce more. I was not cheap, though. Roundabout 200$, if I remember correctly. But the original pieces have such a bad quality that I had no choice than to deviate from the flawed factory-correct design.

Still looking for this part of my cruise control switch. The plastic bar that grabs the wire cable is busted.
