Back on the road again
« on: February 26, 2018, 04:48:58 PM »
It has been a long time since fall.  Things done since then:  rebuilt carbs, replaced intake gasket, replaced timing chain cover ( chain & gears looked new) and oil pan gasket.  Cleaned sludge out of pan.  Then pulled tranny pan and drained torus.  Pulled gas tank and cleaned.
Car idles a bit rough and rich and a bit too fast.  Tranny shifts up and down good.
Now if the wife doesn't wreck it getting used to it since I can't drive anymore.
Radio and antenna work great.  And clock works as new.
She drives and rides great.  I do have the Diamond Back radials on it.
It is now off to the exhaust shop.

I will try to get some pictures for you.  I still need to address the interior but will save back up first.

Any suggestions who might be interested in doing my interior?
Larry
