Aftermarket OEM Style Wiring Harness Complete
« on: August 20, 2019, 05:50:34 PM »
The more I dig into my Series 62 the more I realize I'm going to need to rewire it front to back.  Does anyone have a sugestion as to who makes a good complete harness for Caddys?  On past GM projects I used Painless but they seem more geared towards hot rod type configurations.
Any suggestions or recomendations is appreciated.

Thanks

Lectric limited can get you pretty far along under the hood and maybe dash. But you are on your own for doors and back.

I am installing a YnZ harness in my '53.  They are well made, all the wires are labeled, proper color codes &connectors (so far), and they give you a list showing where everything goes.
Doing the taillights, parking lights, etc can be a bit challenging because they don't supply replacement sockets, only the parts to rebuild your old ones, which don't always fit right.  You will need to be adept at soldering and using heat shrink.  And there are no wire routing or installation diagrams, so take lots of pictures & notes before you pull the old harness out.
