I don't know what to do.
« on: September 14, 2018, 01:54:55 AM »
I remember getting an email saying the notices were fixed, but I never got any other mail after that.
It's no matter.
I'm not going to be a Cadillac owner for much longer.
I haven't been able to touch the car in longer than I can remember.
Priorities have changed & I don't see myself ever driving a Caddy, pops isn't doing well & I could use the money to pay some bills.
I can post all the finer details when I'm feeling better.
I know it's not a high end car, but it's a good quality car.
I don't want to eBay or CL if I don't have to...those people are jackals.
I'd rather see it go to someone who knows their shit.
I still have the extra chassis for it if someone wants to convert it back to stock.

I've been pretty depressed lately & the fact that I cant finish this car is about to put me over the edge.
I just need to get rid of it. Seeing it sitting there is pissing me off now. I don't have many builds left in me.
I don't think the notices work, so you can email me if you want.
Thanks y'all, you are golden.

Nice 61.  If it was more factory and a convertible you and I would be talking.  You shouldn't have an issue selling it.  Ebay isn't all that bad.  They charge you a flat fee if it sells.  When I sold my 1940 Chevrolet to buy my 1955 CDV they only charged me 125 plus listing fees which were like 50 bucks.  You are also protected through Ebay in case something goes wrong with the sale.  Just my .02

Yeah, I've sold vehicles there before.
If I put it up with a reserve, they charge me the reserve fee every time it doesn't sell.
If I do it no reserve, the stress will probably kill me. (I already know I'm going to lose money, it's just a matter of how much)
They brought back classified ads, but I have no idea what they charge for it now.
I just tried to sell my bug on there & people kept trying to do a deal outside of eBay.
One guy retracted his bid near the end...said his 8yr old son bid on the car.
(so to other potential bidders, it looked like he retracted because there was something wrong with the car)
eBay used to be a good site. People just play too many games now.
If I can't find someone here that wants it, that's probably where I have to go. Just trying to avoid it if possible.
I don't want much for the car. I'd let y'all have it for like $3k or less.
If I do eBay, I'll have to work on it a bit & have to demand $4500+ just for the added stress.

Screw it, I'm just going to list it as is. I don't have time to make it less of a basket case.
This damned heat is unbearable too. Middle of September & it's still summer.
I'll link it once the listing is up.

Here goes nothin'.
I hate to do it, but I really don't see any other option.
Someone should be enjoying the car.
Thanks for lookin'.
