Hello everyone!
Just wanted to say hello and share my story:
My Dad was always a big car guy, and got me into the hobby. Since before I was a thought, he had a '55 Coupe Deville that usually sat at my Grandmother's house covered under piles of junk. One of my fondest memories came when we cleaned out that garage, dug out the car, and got it to fire for the first time in a long time. Shortly thereafter, Dad passed away, far too soon, from a brain aneurysm. At that time I was 14, and couldn't let go of the car. Since then, and for the last 12 years, she's sat outside my Mom's house in the Chicago suburbs. Now, I'm a high school auto shop teacher. I've been saving some money and waiting. Just this week, I towed the car into my school shop to begin a long process. This one's for my Dad, and the memories.
I'll be looking to you all for some help very soon!
Best,
Jerry
