Annie gets some Sabers

Finally got a sunny day to take some pictures of Annie and her new Sabers.

That is one of my all time favorite colors for a car. It reminds me of the Caddy color in that awesome Christmas ad for the '56 model year. I never understood the fascination a lot of car guys have with 'red' and some of its variations, which can vary from "carousel red" (which is really GTO orange), to that flat, life-less red that a lot of European sports cars are painted, (Ferrari). Sports car people seem to gobble it up. Cripes, even many of our tool chests come in that lousy color. Annie's color of 'red' is what God intended IMHO! Gorgeous car Bob! Love it! It oozes class, with those sabres making the whole package stand out even more. They certainly blow away the factory hub caps for that year. Remember the noted one liner that was attributed to a Detroit secretary in the '50's, "Chrome is my favorite color". Clay/Lexi
