Thanks clewisiii,  I donít have the original radio .when I got my car it had an after market head Unit in it . I want to stick with Bluetooth and the modern convenience of a current radio.also itís easy to get here in Australia . Just wanted to see what it actually looks like in the 61 dash.  I can only find pictures in a 59.

Check out custom auto sound. I've used them in old corvettes and they look good and sound nice and have all the modern options

I made my own one of these in a 71 c20 truck. It only costs about five bucks in stuff from radio shack. If you search the internet you can find instructions

I put a retro sound in my 61, it works, it looks ok, but I'm not really happy with how it fits - gaps around where the face come through the dash, has to mount to the bezel instead of the dash frame, had to install separate 3 position switch for the antenna.  For my 57 and 47 I'm going this route: www.randbvintageautoradio.com  He uses original radio case and puts new guts in it
