A Little "Lipstick" for Carmen
« on: April 18, 2019, 09:21:04 PM »
I just picked my car up from the pin striper this afternoon. I wanted something subtle that you don't notice from 20 feet away. Bear in mind that my car is anything but stock so I asked him to do what he felt was right but not to go too wild. I think it came out pretty good. Now I have to go around and fix up all the stone chips!

Thanks guys. The weather has turned here and I haven't had Carmen out for a while. When it gets nice again I'll wash her and take some photos of some of the detail. It's hard to pick up in the video but there is some really intricate weaving of the orange over and under the red. Some still photos will show Gary's work off much better.

Thanks Wayne, it is pretty subtle and not noticeable from 20 feet but when you walk up to the car you start discovering the details. I was at a really nice show North of here in the small town of Didsbury. First really good day of the year and a great turn out. Lots of people commented favorably on the pin stripes. I've had a rough couple of weeks from the radiation treatment but am feeling much better now and the nice weather and great show were a real bonus. Didn't hurt getting Carmen out on the highway for a cruise either.
