What Should I charge For a Nice 1954 Hubcap?
« on: May 13, 2019, 01:29:39 PM »
I have quite a few hubcaps spare for my car and a friend has asked if I could sell him one for his car. I have no idea what to charge for one, any ideas? Phil

How good a friend?  Just give it to him and make him buy you a nice lunch w/a few pints... :D

As a lunch can be either darn cheap or very expensive, I'm suggesting something different: when I was more active with parts selling, such nice hubcaps were between $ 60 to $ 100.00, friend or not friend. We cannot compare 1 to 1 the spare part prices in Europe with was is required in the US.

I just bought a really nice hub cap for my 55 no dings or curb rash. I paid $30.00 for it.

If you have to import it from the States, it will be above $50.00. As I wrote, don't compare the prices in the US and in Europe.

Thanks everyone. I am in the UK and I did import a spare set. The 4 cost me $90 total plus around $40 shipping. Phil
