Really nice "lamp"! Never saw that before. Of course, such toys are not shown in Europe.

Dang! Milwaukee is only a hour away from me. I wonder how long ago he purchased the lamp? I look on Craigslist and eBay for Cadillac stuff never saw this. Maybe he had it listed under lamps sure is cool I would have paid the $200.00 in a heartbeat. :P

About two miles from my house there is a full service gas station in a small town near me in Southeastern Wisconsin. I mean a small town three bars, barber shop, a church and this gas station. There is no name brand like Standard or Gulf just two pumps the original building and another in the back for repairs.

I keep sanding and buffing this car to remove the patchwork of brushed-on touch up paint (and the previous owner had a big fat brush and he wasn't afraid to use it!).  When I got it, the car was a blotchy mess.  It still needs a paint job, but it is looking better and better.

By the way, the rear quarters were painted in the driveway by me with some rattle cans of lacquer...

Thanks.  Yeah, it doesn't seem like the same car cosmetically.  The tops of the rear quarters are still a mess (the valleys next to the trunk).  But the car is not embarassing at all now.  Shows up well...

A nice 56 sedan de ville. The owner told me he's the 3rd owner from new. Plus two Dodges,  I know it's wrong but they looked so pretty together! Phil
